The scheme is administered by a partnership of local authorities across three distinct regions: North West Wales, South East Wales and South West Wales.
LIF can support a range of capital investment projects relating to business start-ups, expansion and growth.

Programme End Date
LIF ends on different dates in each region. They are:-
• South East Wales – 31 December 2013
• South West Wales– 30 June 2014
• North West Wales– 31 August 2014
Eligible Sectors
All, except those ineligible under EU state aid rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Funding must either be for capital investment, which could include capital equipment, ICT equipment, and external or internal building works and alterations to industrial premises, or for the development of websites or non-recurring marketing materials.
