Nia Davies, HWB Cymru - HWB i Fusnes | Helping With Busines

Nia has a background in business and politics in Wales. After graduating from Aberystwyth University, with a Degree in Politics and a Masters in Entrepreneurship, she worked for Ceredigion and Conwy County Councils as a Business Adviser. In addition Nia has worked for the Welsh Development Agency, for several private businesses and for the Federation of Small Businesses, before being one of the founders of HWB Cymru. Nia was the Chair and founder of the Procurement Supplier Board, and has sat on all major economic development committees of the Welsh Government. Nia therefore has a first-hand understanding of all the stakeholders which HWB aims to support in working closer together.

Non Rhys, HWB Cymru - HWB i Fusnes | Helping With Busines

Non was Chair of Business Wales during the Economic Summits, and as such was the main voice representing the business community during discussion with the Welsh Government during the recession. Non has sat on and chaired a wide range of Governmental Committees including the Council for Economic Renewal, the Wales Climate Change Commission and the Wales Social Partners Unit Board of Directors.Non has a background of Wales level campaign management at elections at all levels of Government, including communication strategy, candidate training and organising volunteers.Non has also managed organisation of major events such as mass rallies and conferences. With a background in membership organisations she has vast experience in engaging volunteers and activists and consultation with members.

Peter Sishton, HWB Cymru - HWB i Fusnes | Helping With Busines

Peter has a rare knowledge of Higher Education, Further Education and schools policy, and has effectively engaged employers in the skills policy arena, particularly in the field of technology. Peter was the Director of e-skills UK, the sector skills council for business and technology, where he brought together the Wales employer board for IT, which gained the respect of Welsh Government departments and Ministers. Peter helped to create the 'digital stakeholder community' in Wales that comprised employers (both private and public sector, including large corporates to SME'S and Micro businesses), educators and policy makers in order to help ensure the future growth of the IT sector in Wales. Peter is a highly respected individual who has successfully secured and delivered Welsh Government and Westminster Government funded programmes.
